Mohawk Trail Regional High School is a public high school serving the 9 towns of Ashfield, Buckland, Charlemont, Colrain, Hawley, Heath, Plainfield, Rowe, and Shelburne, Massachusetts. Located on Route 112 in Buckland, approximately 640 seventh through twelfth graders attend the school. Six regional elementary schools send students to Mohawk including: Buckland-Shelburne Regional Elementary School, Colrain Central School, Hawlemont Regional School (Charlemont and Hawley), Sanderson Academy (Ashfield and Plainfield), Rowe Elementary School, and Heath Elementary School.
The Mission of Mohawk Trail Regional School is to help students achieve academic goals, develop appropriate interpersonal skills, make intelligent independent choices, instill a desire for life long learning, and become self-directed and responsible citizens.
